Northern Territory: Hold the Bus
The Territory Government has welcomed a new Volgren bus into its Darwin Bus Service fleet.
Member for Fannie Bay Michael Gunner said the new Euro 5 standard bus was the 3000th bus to be manufactured by Volgren in Dandenong and arrived ahead of next Monday’s Darwin Cup.

Northern Territory : Access Economics forecasts a strong Territory Economy
Treasurer Delia Lawrie has welcomed the release of Access Economics’ June Quarter 2010 Business Outlook that predicts strong job and economic growth for the Territory.
“The Access Economics analysis is positive for local business with the Territory forecast to have the third highest economic growth behind the resource rich states of Western Australia and Queensland,” Ms Lawrie said. Click here to read more

Nitmiluk : Crocodile Sighting at Nitmiluk National Park
Essential Services Minister Rob Knight has inspected the progress of works that are part of the Darwin City Sewerage Upgrade.
Mr Knight said the Larrakeyah Outfall is on track to be closed by October 2011.

The first and second gorges in Nitmiluk National Park are temporarily closed for swimming and canoeing following the sighting of an estuarine (saltwater) crocodile in the second gorge on Saturday, 24 July 2010.
