A community celebration will be held in Tennant Creek on Friday 11 December to acknowledge the achievements of a group of Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education students that have successfully completed the academic requirements of their Bachelor of Nursing degrees and Aged Care Apprenticeships.
The students are part of an innovative pilot project that commenced in Tennant Creek in 2007 to promote the training of health care professionals in NT regional centres.
